Historic restoration of amazing courthouse building on Cape Fear River

Sounds of the work being done on the magistrate courthouse building along Cape Fear River in downtown Wilmington, NC. You can hear a stuck JLG boom lift trying to descend, workers using grinders on the exterior of the building and a lot of ambient sounds. All the windows are boarded up and I can’t imagine the magnitude of the work progressing inside. All the sounds in this album are from the outside. Workers are all subcontractors and talk/chat throughout some of the tracks. 

It’s a great indication of the scale of work and how much noise they are making. The uploaded files are minimally enhanced. It's a true stereo sound of the work being done.
